Ive read many books when I was child but these three are for me something special. I can calmly read them now and believe me, Im grown-up already for many many years :-). These books are somehow supertemporal and very clever, so I can find there something also now-a-days. I think you will agree with me. /
V detstve som čítala veľa kníh, ale tieto tri sú pre mňa niečím špeciálnym. Kľudne ich môžem čítať aj teraz a verte mi, už som dospelá veľa veľa rokov :-). Tieto knihy sú akosi nadčasové, veľmi múdre, takže v nich vždy môžem niečo nájsť aj dnes. Myslím, že so mnou budete súhlasiť.

Ako dieťa som mala len toto vydanie tejto krásnej knihy. Až o mnoho rokov vyšlo u nás vydanie s úžasnými originálnymi ilustráciami Ernesta H. Sheparda.
Amazing adventures in Hundred Acres Wood of Winnie the Pooh and his friends Christopher Robin, Piglet, Eeyore, Tigger and Kanga fascinate children since 1926. I think these figures are most by children beloved characters ever. /
Úžasné dobrodružstva Medvedíka Pu a jeho priateľov Krištofka Robina, Prasiatka, Iáčika, Tigra a Klokanice v Stokorcovom lese fascinujú deti od r. 1926. Myslím, že sú to pre deti tie najmilovanejšie postavičky vôbec.

I've got tis book some years ago as a gift from my sister. Fascinating portraits of cute figures, look inside to background of their eternal charm, parts of original books, temporary reviews and articles and family photographs of Christopher Milne who was master for Christopher Robin. Charming common biography of all characters. Actualy lovely bedside reader :-). /
Túto knihu som dostala pred pár rokmi ako dar od mojej sestry. Fascinujúci portrét rozkošných postavičiek, pohľad do podstaty ich večného kúzla, časti originálnych kníh, dobové recenzie a články a rodinné fotografie Christophera Milneho, ktorý bol predlohou pre Krištofka Robina. Čarovný spoločný životopis všetkých postavičiek. Skutočne krásne čítanie do postele :-).

First we had edition (abbreviated) - on the picture left, else later the other one. And although this book had many editions with very sophisticated illustrations I still prefer the first one illustrated by Dagmar Berkova. Her subtle pictures suits for me best to Alice s magic adventures full of phantasy. You can tell it was all only a dream of her, but dream very delightful and alive, full of magic and crazy characters - the Cheshire Cat, the White Rabbit, the Hatter, the duchess, The Queen and King of Hearts,... and although crazy always with some deeper and clever sence... And, btw., I can't help - despite of actually many film adaptations I dont like any of them. Original stories is so full of phantasy and in spite of it the authors still need to make it even "better" and put in something more, I can't understand why.../
Najprv sme mali vydanie (skrátené) - na obrázku vľavo, až neskôr to druhé. A hoci kniha už mala veľa vydaní s veľmi sofistikovanými ilustráciami, stále mám najradšej to prvé vydanie, ktoré ilustrovala Dagmar Berková. Jej nežné obrázky sa, podľa mňa, najlepšie hodia k Alenkiným čarovným dobrodružstvám, plným fantázie. Môžete povedať, že to bol len jej sen, ale sen kúzelný, veľmi živý a plný čarovných a bláznivých postáv - Cheshireská mačka, Biely králik, Klobúčnik, Vojvodkyňa, Srdcová kráľovná a Král,... a hoci bláznivé, vždy s nejakým hlbším a múdrym významom... A, mimochodom, nemôžem si pomôcť - napriek veľkému počtu filmových adaptácií sa mi nepáči ani jedna z nich. Originálny príbeh je tak plný fantázie a napriek tomu autori ešte potrebujú ho "vylepšiť" a dať tam viac. Nechápem, načo...

Antoine de Saint-Exupéry: The Little Prince / Malý princ
Author writes it as his own experience as military pilot when he breaks down with his plane in desert during the war. And there he meets the Little Prince who tells him about his life... Lovely clever book about The Little Price who lives lonely on his planet so small that he can go arround it many times in a day. He has only one Rose, very sensitive and conceint a bit. Little Prince decides to travel to another planets where he meets many interesting, sometimes a bit strange characters. Through their stories he always gets a new experience and learns something new. And a sentence of one of them - The Fox - is beautiful:
It is only with the heart that one can see rightly. /
Autor to píše, ako svoju skúsenosť, keď počas vojny ako vojenský pilot havaruje s lietadlom na púšti. A tam stretne Malého princa, ktorý mu rozpráva o svojom živote... Nádherná, múdra kniha o Malom princovi, ktorý žije sám na planéte takej malej, že ju dokáže prejsť dokola viac krát za deň. Má len jednu Ružu, veľmi citlivú a trošku namyslenú. Malý princ sa rozhodne cestovať po planétach a stretáva na nich veľa zaujímavých, niekedy trochu zvláštnych postáv. Z ich príbehov si vždy vezme nové ponaučenie. A veta jednej z postáv - Líšky - je krásna:
Len srdcom vidí človek správne, to podstatné je očiam neviditeľné.
